Janki Yoga
Hi — I'm Janki. I teach yoga.
For me, yoga is how you live. We work with pranayama, asana, yoga nidra, and meditation — practical tools for meeting your work, your relationships, your day, without being thrown around by every win and loss. The Gita calls it skill in action.
Your first session is on me.
योगः कर्मसु कौशलम् Yoga is skill in action.
— Bhagavad Gita 2.50
The Gita gives an image for this — a lotus on the water. The lotus lives in the water but isn't soaked by it. The practice is how you become like that. The breath teaches you to settle when the day doesn't. The body becomes a place that can hold you. Deep rest releases what you've been carrying. Stillness builds the small pause between trigger and reaction — the space where you get to choose what comes next.
What we practice
-
Pranayama (Breath)
The fastest way to settle the body and the mind. Where the practice usually begins.
-
Asana (Movement)
The poses. Steady energy, better sleep, and a sense of being at home in your body.
-
Yoga Nidra (Rest)
A guided form of deep rest. Where layers of accumulated stress start to release.
-
Meditation (Stillness)
Sitting practice. Coming back to yourself when life pulls you in many directions.
