Janki Yoga

Offerings

There are a few ways we can practice together, and which one fits depends on where you are. Most people start with a free thirty-minute intro so we can meet, talk a little about what you're hoping to get from yoga, and try a short practice together. From there, the regular rhythm is a one-hour session that I shape around what you need at that point in your life. I'm also planning to bring back small-group classes once there are enough people ready to practice together.

Free thirty-minute intro

The first time we meet is free and runs about thirty minutes. We'll talk a little about what brought you here, do a short practice together, and at the end you can decide whether you want to come back. There's nothing else to sign up for, and you don't need to know anything about yoga before we start.

One-to-one sessions

After the intro, the regular sessions are an hour long. What we work on depends on where you are at that point — sometimes it's breath and movement, sometimes it's sitting practice, sometimes it's questions that came up since the last time we met. How often we meet is up to you, but if you want to build a steady rhythm into the practice, once or twice a week is a good place to start.

Group classes

I'm planning to bring back small-group classes once there's a steady group of people who want to practice together.

If that's something you'd want to be part of, send me a note and I'll let you know when they start.

Start with a free intro.

If you're new to this — or to me — that's where I'd suggest beginning.
